Looks like Book Depository is being shut by Amazon.

This from their website:

"We are sorry to let you know that Book Depository will be closing on 26 April 2023.

You can still place orders until midday (12pm BST) on 26 April 2023 and we will continue to deliver your purchases and provide support for any order issues until 23 June 2023.

From all of us at Book Depository we want to say "thank you". Delivering your favourite reads to you since 2007 has been a pleasure.

I've often wondered what the business model was for having BD separate from Amazon - especially when BD listings are in the Amazon marketplace! Did they have completely separate warehouses/shipping facilities, etc.?

In any event, taking BD off my list of retailers to integrate with on the site. ?

I think Book Depository will be missed by some people, though I did stop using them because I felt that the free shipping was misleading.

All the items had free delivery, but depending on the country you logged in from you would often get a completely different price for the book shown, which is how the free delivery worked. I think it is better to be transparent than try and hide this in a different price depending on location.

Yeah Blackwells just through my books in a box without any packaging at all. After getting tons of damaged books from them, I switched exclusively to Book Depository... Back to blackwells I guess...

What is up with this speedyhen? In the faq they mention worldwide delivery but you can only select UK at the checkout.

I would contact them, as it looks to be a mistake on the website, that you can add a UK delivery address.
