Anyone know anything about this poster? I’m not interested at the asking price (bid let alone BIN) but would love to know who made these, when, and how/if they were available for sale. Not recorded in Beyond Bree’s List of Tolkienalia.
Says it was printed in the USA by Steven G. Whitney.
listings like this make me chuckle: it's from The Hobbit. And, to not be rude about stating that fact, it even says "The Hobbit" on the poster itself! (I checked and zoomed in before making my comment haha).
I think this has been asked before but is that shop reliable (tolkienshop.com)? And by that I mean do they really exist, because several of their prices are quite fair in comparison.
For example, they are offering Cor Blok originals just like another well known Tolkien shop in Europe. Who actually has these in hand??

Me too! Definitely a reliable shop and I know and trust the owner Rene. The Cor Blok originals are listed on a few sites in order to increase exposure but the shop owners are all reliable.
Thank you both. Is it known who actually has the Blok originals? Two new ones were fairly recently added to one shop in the low 5 figures and I was wondering if other might be coming to sale ever in the future. I am interested in getting one but given the size and price I suspect you will never be able to sell it should you need to, hence the discriminating approach.
