Walker Books, part of the Trustbridge Global Media group, is moving its UK and export distribution to HarperCollins’ new distribution centre in Robroyston, Glasgow, in May 2025.
This follows the news that Grantham Book Services (GBS) is to close to third party clients by the end of 2025.
Mike McGrath, group commercial director at Walker Books, said: “Moving our distribution to HarperCollins is a continuation of the growth and development of Walker Books. The new distribution centre in Robroyston is testament to HarperCollins’ commitment to third party distribution and we look forward to many happy years together.”
Gordon Scott, managing director at HarperCollins Supply Chain, added: “At HarperCollins our supply chain team bring decades of knowledge and experience, and a commitment to providing the most agile service in the industry. We are delighted to welcome Walker Books to our state-of-the-art new distribution centre in Robroyston in May 2025, and look forward to distributing its acclaimed and bestselling books to customers in the UK and around the world.”
