Amazon just listed a future WM boxset intitled "Tolkien Myths and Legends Box Set", including hardbacks of Beowulf, The Fall of Arthur, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrún (in the same kind of the recent HoMe boxsets?).
Not that my opinion matters much, but I would have instead thought a Beowulf, Arthur, Gawain box, and then a Sigurd/Gudrun, Kullervo and Aotrou/Itroun box, would be better and better balanced, if all the relevant books were to be released. The former feels more like British/English material, the latter more (very vaguely) European. But of course, there are more economically pressing considerations than the thematic consistency.
Hopefully, if this boxset is actually happening, it is designed well. These are all volumes edited by Christopher, so could be a continuation of the centenary material. Kullervo and Aotrou & Itroun were edited by Dr. Flieger.
Yes, something like that occurred to me as well. There might be subtle rights issues mixing different editors in a boxset.
(I knew A&I was Flieger-edited off the top of my head because that's the most recent one I'd read, but couldn't recall and was not invested enough to double check who had done Kullervo, so thanks for the reminder)

I don't think this is a rights issue, these are being issued for the Centenary of Christopher Tolkien, so they are including books that he edited.
I’ll be so disappointed if HC do not do this, and we’ll have another US only Great Tales box set on our hands… also, like others have said, if they’re made individually that would be very welcome indeed. Sir Gawain is very much needed, and I don’t have the hardback of Beowulf which is out of print, so that’s a huge plus for me.
fingers crossed they do some more of his out of print stuff such as Kullervo.
