Writing to Tolkien, Dora Owen, who has read 'Goblin Feet' in Oxford Poetry 1915, asks Tolkien if she may include it in a collection of fairy poetry she is compiling for publication by Longmans (The Book of Fairy Poetry, 1920).
Tolkien replies and includes several poems for her consideration.
It will finally appear in 1920 will include 'Goblin Feet' among many other poems from figures such as William Shakespeare, Alfred Tennyson, Sir Walter Scott, Christina Rossetti, John Milton, Robert Louis Stevenson, William Yeats, and John Keats.
