Tolkien sends the completed manuscript of his A Middle English VocabularyOUP begin sending proofs for A Middle English Vocabulary in early March 1922[1] which was intended to be part of Kenneth Sisam's Fourteenth Century Verse and Prose to Oxford University Press.Sisam's book was originally published without Tolkien's glossaries with later editions of the book containing Tolkien's glossary.[2]
