Susan Dagnall writes again to Tolkien on the matter of the Hobbit. His maps will require redrawing as there are too many colours. She suggests red and blue, or any other two colours. She thinks that the maps of Thror's Map and Wilderland would suit being endpapers. She mentions that the moon letters on Thror's map would be very complicated to reproduce and asks how important they are. She has asked the GA&U production departmentC. A. Furth[1] to start submitting proofs to Tolkien for his consideration.
