Tolkien writes to the wife of Joseph WrightEditor of the English Dialect Dictionary and whom Tolkien had studied philology with at Oxford[1] thanking her for sending him her article about Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and some kind comments about his Middle-English Vocabulary work.
