To
Donald Swann

Writing to Swann, Tolkien gives him an update on plans for Swann's recital at Merton during the Tolkien's Golden Wedding celebrations. He gives some details on the room to be used, saying it is not very suitable, with low ceilings and a lot of furniture "stuffed" in. A piano will be brought to the room on the morning of the recital (23rd March).Supplied by "Messrs Taphouse"[1]

He closes the letter remarking that "Galadriel was a southerner" but that some Elves in Rivendell would have a northern accent.
