THE HOBBIT ILLUSTRATED is a hardbound, handcrafted complete miniature reproduction of The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien as it contains the complete text and illustrations by J.R.R. Tolkien in two volumes totaling 246 pages with 16 illustrations (13 full color and 3 black and white). This volume measures 31/32 inch high by 25/32 inch wide by 5/16 inch thick. It is constructed using traditional book making techniques and other techniques I have developed for making miniature books. The spine is printed with the title so the volume will look well on a bookshelf. The pages are printed on both sides of single sheets. Each page is individually cut out. I personally make each book.
