‘Tolkien in Love’ will be broadcast on Friday 3rd August, 11.00-11.30, telling the story of how J. R. R. Tolkien met and fell in love with Edith Bratt in Edgbaston, Birmingham. More information here.

‘The Hobbit, The Musical’ will be broadcast on Saturday 4th August, 10.30-11.00. In December 1967 choristers at New College School, Oxford, performed an adaptation of The Hobbit. Some former choristers talk about their memories of taking part, with the songs performed by the present New College Chamber Choir. More information here.
