- about someone who's had a house built in his garden for his Tolkien collection which, it is reported here and elsewhere, includes books and 'manuscripts'. The bookshelves in this picture don't seem remarkable (but then I wouldn't show any of my good stuff, either).
I was wondering what reporters here and elswhere on the net mean by 'manuscripts'? I know what I mean when I say 'Tolkien manuscripts', but reporters seem to want to convey an idea of something mysterious....
I'd be interested to hear/see what else is in that collection (apart from those God-awful figures in the rafters).
