Prompted by issue 33 of The Tolkien Collector, I got down my 2012 copy of The Father Christmas Letters, and noted that it says, "This paperback edition // 2012." The only problem is that it says this in a hardback edition ...

Yeah, I noticed this when it came out. Have checked every copy I have seen in the stores, and they all seem to have this mistake.

I'm planning on gifting myself a copy of this book (finally!) this Christmas
There are quite a few versions out there though - so I wanted to ask whether this is any post/page that does a comparison of the differences, or identifies what might be a "definitive" edition?
