Damn you lucky blighters that live in the UK!!! :)
Got my deluxe copy signed at Oxonmoot, too. And a standard copy; and a calendar.
And my copy of The Big Issue.
*happy.

Has anyone received this year's Journal of Tolkien Studies? I have been told that my copy has been sent out ...

It's been pretty quiet around here...
Anyone any comments on the quality/format of the H/LR "Collector's Edition" boxset? Anyone noticed, or bought, the Hb "Film Tie-in Edition" (pocket) H?

EP have released a leather-bound 'Fall of Arthur'. Might be of interest to some. I don't personally collect American books, but I do have the EP releases (so I have ordered a copy). Note that international buyers need to ring them up to order (but the person took my order was very polite and helpful, and international postage was only $8 on top of the US price).

"Special Transparent Slipcase". Ugh. Sounds astonishingly like cheap and nasty plastic packaging...
I'm definitely going to start skipping some of these "meaningless milestone" releases, I think (or at least will wait and see, rather than preorder).
