In the right bookcase, second shelf from the top, there's a white book with a photo of JRRT on the cover -- which book is this?

It's the Tolkien Society's guide to Tolkien's Oxford.

Hi,
My name is Oronzo and I am an Italian collector. I have followed this website for some time because I consider it one of the best.
Let me introduce myself through my collection, of which I hereby enclose some pictures. I created the website "Tolkien Collection", and a page on Facebook with the same name.

I also wrote the first Italian bibliography on Tolkien and I have edited the second Italian edition of the Annotated Hobbit by Anderson.

Oronzo - great looking collection! How about some close-ups of your favourites?
Wellinghall - this Blackwell chap has got even more duplicates than me! Nice shelf of yours by the way. I have less than half of what you were displaying there, I think.
Remy - below is my best Puffin Hobbit-as regards the spine anyway. Unfortunately there is a small fault on the front cover so yours is definitely the better. Yours is therefore the best one here - unless anyone else knows better!

I thought I'd post a couple more pictures - firstly some items of interest not visible from the earlier photos and secondly my latest acquisition of Tolkien-related artwork.

Oxford poetry hardback -took me ages to find a decent copy & a Pauline signed last song - well done.

Who is the artwork by? What is the subject ? Its looks very detailed - assume pen used?

The artwork is by Jay Johnstone. It is a print of 'The King of the Golden Hall'. I very much like this style of his. There was an interview with him on the Tolkien Library website in July 2012.
