Question about Nasmith's illustrations in Robert Foster's Complete Guide

Just found out that there is a hardback edition of Robert Foster's Complete Guide to Middle Earth that matches Ted Nasmith's illustrated Silmarillion

For those than own both, how much crossover is there with the Silmarillion-related illustrations? Are there are a lot of the same images in both, or are there quite a few exclusive new ones in the Complete Guide?

Sorry, don't have a copy of the Illustrated Guide, so can't help. Has always been on my list of things to pick up cheap second hand.

I asked Ted, and don't have a complete answer yet (he's doing some checking). More soon.

[EDIT] And if it wasn't clear, I also don't have that edition of the Guide on hand. My copy is not the illustrated edition.

I have both, there is not a list of illustrations in the Complete Guide, so it is quite hard to say which are the same, without comparing both books.

The Complete Guide does include a chapter by Ted on illustrating this edition, which is also of interest.

There are about 10 S illustrations. The rest are H and LR.

Ted Nasmith responded with the following, after checking his own copies:

There are 7 illustrations taken from The Silmarillion (illustrated), along with the majority from LotR and a handful from TH. None of the works published is being published for the first time, either.
