Thank you for the answer!
We're on a three-week holiday and driving from Auckland down to Fiordland on the South Island. Tonight we arrived in Wellington after a second visit to the Hobbiton Movie Set this morning... we took several photos with the facsimile first edition of The Hobbit in front of various holes and other landmarks, but here's the only one I have access to until we get back to the states and can unload photos from our camera.
This one was shot with a measly iPhone 6 camera but is still stunningly gorgeous, which I attribute entirely to Hobbiton itself.

If you like North Island, you will be blown away by South Island! The scenery here is pretty amazing. I've somewhat gotten used to it, but then every so often I will look up at The Remarkables and think "Wow".
Good to see you putting that copy of the Hobbit to good use :)
My Hobbit Facsimile arrived in Fine condition! I think its the first time I receive an online order "fulfilled by Amazon" without any damage or bumps (despite the ever-mediocre packaging).
Miracles do happen
Edit: nusilver, that's great! I need to visit NZ.

The Story of Kullervo deluxe edition comes out on the 20th October 2016, publishers RRP £60, I assume it will be a dark purple binding.

I've actually been anticipating this release for a while now :)
About the colour, I think it may be more orangish/reddish/maroonish rather than purple (because that's already been used for Beowulf).
But let's see... I'm also curious what the motif will be, and if there will be any "extras" to fill out the book, because, as I've learned on here, it is actually pretty thin, even thinner than The Fall of Arthur. I wonder if "Kullervo" would even fit on the spine.

I have no idea how HarperCollins will fit "The Lay of Aotrou and Itroun" onto a very, very thin spine when it appears as a deluxe edition.
I don't think "Kullervo" will have any any "extras" but will be exactly the same text as the trade edition.
I am sure that "Kullervo" will fit on the spine if you use a very small font size

Oh I did not even think of the issues that The Lay of Aotrou and Itroun would present. I wonder if they will release it as a deluxe? The book is so small really. It probably would've been better if they had released these other works as a compendium (like Tales From the Perilous Realm).
Is there the possibility of them using thicker paper or something of that sort to increase the width of these books?
I think they will consider putting The Lay of Aotrou and Itroun with A Secret Vice. Together they are around 280 pages, otherwise they will be very small 'deluxe' editions. But Kullervo being released by itself with no additions will be an indicator to how slim they are willing to make these titles at £60 a pop.
