LOTR Deluxe was definitely Italian as far as the third print. So far as I am aware, all of the other books went Chinese on their second print (those that have seen a second print, that is).

Do we know which of these have 2nd prints? The reason I'm asking is because I'd like to purchase, for example, Fall of Arthur, and S&G.

I'm trying to gauge whether it will be safe for me to purchase these without getting a Chinese reprint :(

LOTR, CoH, The Hobbit, The Sil, TftPR and S&G have definitely had a second print. I don't know about any of the ones released after that.

I expected a crimson red but I like the color. The book looks thicker than I expected and glad to see the title fits ok on the spine.

Yeah me too. The spine looks alright. I read from the description that the book has 5 black-and-white plates and 1 colour plate. Maybe these helped thicken the book a wee bit.

Try Book Depository - is 75 NZD (about 43 pounds) including shipping to NZ, so can't imagine Australia will be much different

My Deluxe Kullervo has just been delivered, looks nice, though some people may be unhappy as it is printed and bound in China. It also states that this printing is available for a limited time only, so at the moment I expect HarperCollins do not expect to reprint.
