Someone has just posted a photo on the Tolkien Society f/book page showing their copy of the facsimile Hobbit with Thror's map on the rear endpaper.
I don't know which number printing this is.

That smells of cock-up. I wonder if it is a one-off or if there is a recent print-run of bad ones

Just a bit more info on the Facimsile Hobbit printing.
As of yet there has only been one printing, so the "1" is correct on all copies. The reason it became unavailable for a while is that a number of the copies were held back in Italy and were slipcased and shipped when it was seen that the book was selling well. The unavailability was due to the books being prepared and shipped from Italy.
It is likely there will be a second printing.
And to recap previous post, the number of copies with the swapped maps is unknown.
