A first impression - despite emails to this seller he/she refuses to amend !

If someone buys this, then they will notice the photoshopping that has taken place on the impression page, when they get the real book, very dodgy indeed, from looking at when the book was lent out by the library (1959), then I think it is probably the 6th Impression.

Having spent a bit more time looking at it, I don't think it has been photoshopped but that the Impression page has been altered to make it look like a 1st Impression, you can tell it is not a real first impression by items that are not correct for the 1st Impression.

Almost certainly has just been modified by scraping away the paper fibers.

A "TRUE 2nd PRINTING"... true (mind you). The seller has thoughtfully included in the listing a picture of the copyright page showing a number line ending with '7'.

edit: Looks like the listing was updated; now it's a TRUE first edition, second printing.

True reprints are really hard to come by...
