And gone! These now seem to be being going for an incredible amount of money. Last copy on eBay went for roughly the same in March this year; AUS$1700 (~£950/$1250 mark). Starting to creep into the out-of-reach price bracket for the majority now.
The reality is it only takes one or two irrationally exuberant people to significantly distort the price upwards for an item that comes up one or two times a year. Normal market forces cease to apply. The supply only has to free up quite a small amount and the market behaves normally again. Whether supply frees up enough for that to happen is anyone's guess.
Hopefully those signed CoH and S&Gs will go up in price at some point, as I have a few to get rid of....
I mentioned that copy before, since it was available while the two eBay ones were "snapped" up. You could have simply bought this one; probably negotiated a lowered price, bought direct, etc. Still high though.

Ahh yes, I didn't notice it was the same one. I'm almost tempted to stick mine on eBay for an absolutely silly BIN price, as I'm not quite so interested in deluxe editions, these days.

I'm not really looking to sell at the moment, but if prices got a bit more silly, I possibly would. If you are after one, that copy in Norway is cheaper than the last two have sold for.
