Got my SpeedyHen standard Hb today. Looks very smart; looking forward to reading. Printed in UK as mentioned above. The dustjacket fold-around flaps are very wide; probably to within about an inch of the gutter, which is unusual. Looking forward to seeing the deluxe, although no shipping notice for that as yet.

I think the flaps of most of the standard trade Tolkien hardbacks for the last few years have been to within an inch or so of the gutter. Not sure when that changed.

My Deluxe has been dispatched from Amazon, and I should get it tomorrow, will post some photos if it turns up.

My Amazon UK preorder hasn’t shipped yet. I’ve been told it will ship on September 3 for whatever reason. Can’t wait

Delivered today, when I get chance I will try and post from photos, but the book is printed by LEGO Spa in Italy, also quite tight within the slipcase and the spine is difficult to read as the colours are very similar.

I live in Spain a many online uk shops do not ship here :(

The colour for this one was always going to make seeing the text difficult - but for some reason I’m sold on the golden yellow colour.
