I've been working on this set for a long time and have just completed it, getting the 6th printing in the mail today (I've been really zeroed in on Hobbits lately!). I still need a couple variants (for 5th/7th printings) but essentially this a complete set of the second edition U.S. Hobbits. I love how these look without their jackets! So I hope you'll forgive me for showing them off

Not sure about the US 5th, but UK 3rd editions, anywhere from £20 - £40 for a decent jacketed copy.

Someone on reddit asked to see my collection, and easiest to load it here...

I think this is about half of my collection (which is a lot smaller than most of the other collectors on here). The rest are boxed -- I boxed up a good 50 or so a few weeks back, and there must already be at least 150 boxed before that. I only use two book-cases, so stuff just gets moved off periodically to make room, and I didn't bother unpacking a lot of stuff when I moved to NZ...
