Today I saw that The Lays of Beleriand popped up for pre-order for release this month (20 Sep) on Amazon UK and DE.

Did anybody else know about this? Seems an odd marketing exercise to release a new digital edition without any marketing at all.

I don't know anything about this particular edition, but I have talked to HC in the past about HoME ebooks and why they stopped doing them. It was to do with the fonts and text character size, increasing the size of the text did not work on earlier HoME ebooks, so they stopped doing them until this issue could be resolved.
Hoping it now has been resolved.
I would not expect much or any marketing for HoME ebooks from HC, but thanks for pointing this out
