This is a photocopy of Tom Shippey's photocopy, I believe. I'm not sure how many of these bound photocopies are out there, but the copy I got scans of a few years back was bound identically (and was clearly from the same source). There is a page attached to the back which has various notes that are contemporaneous with the time the photocopy was produced (assuming this copy also has the notes page).
Would not be surprised to see a take down on it from the estate.
Edit: Having looked at my PDF, the scan i have appears to be from a later generation photocopy than this one (perhaps even a photocopy of this copy). This appears to be closer to the original source.

Very interesting, I would very much like to read Tolkien's notes to the songs, but £35 seems an awful lot for a photocopy...
