Tolkien Studies Volume 16 is available

The West Virginia University Press is now shipping Tolkien Studies Volume XVI (16). These are now only available in paperback sadly, but the content in each year's issue is always quite good.

(Note that the WVU website says there is a 30% off coupon for all their books, but Tolkien Studies counts as a "journal" not a book so the coupon does not apply).

Price is $60 (individual, USA), $70 (individual, international) and higher for institutions.
Website to order is https://wvupressonline.com/journals/tolkien_studies

Each year, I'm hoping the price will decreased since it's paperback. I can't afford it since n°13 and 70$ is really too much.

I gave up buying TStudies years ago. I think I have up to IX (2012); always intended to buy X to round it out on the shelf, but never quite got around to it. Didn't realise it wasn't publishing in Hb anymore. And the price is still $70?! No thanks.

Updated the original post to clarify the In Memoriam article source and contents, because David Bratman was evidently asked about it.

Do they not use Print on Demand for Tolkien Studies? If not why not?

As of Volume XII (2015) when they switched to paperback, they are. Issues 2 through 11 are available as digital editions as well, so perhaps those will be reprinted as PoD someday.
