I thought it would be nice to have a running thread where people can post recent acquisitions they want to discuss, ask questions about, or just brag/share for fun.

Yesterday this fun book came in the mail to me. It contains a short submission from Tolkien on page 43 about his interests in reading when he was a teenager.
Attacks of Taste, edited by Evelyn B. Bryne and Otto M. Penzler, 1971. The dustjacket is plain white paper. The cloth boards have a label affixed to the front and to the spine. Limited to an edition of 500 copies, of which 100 presentation copies were not signed, and the other 400 were signed by the editors (the signature/limitation page is at the back of the book).
My copy is fine/fine and #183.
