Offered by the Manhattan Rare Book Company. They said pictures will be up next week, Wednesday.

Apparently they did sell, but the person that bought them just recently sold them back to the seller. Tough times all around.

Indeed - I can't imagine prices for this kind of thing (or any Tolkien materials) going up any time soon. Anybody's guess how large the price correction will be, though.
