I think there was only one bid sitting at the opening price (£450) when it was stopped/unlisted.

I'm confused. The listing you posted has two plates, which I didn't see the first time around. Two. I see the seller listed a copy in May, too. TCG says it sold first time.

I hadn't noticed that either. The two plates are for number 125 and 113 in the pictures for the more recent listing.

The previous auction only had the plate for 125

That's what eBay is reporting. I assume the auction was ended by the seller and the data does not reflect an actual sale.
