I am looking for A Tolkien Tapestry Pictures to Accompany the Lord of the Rings by artist Cor Blok and edited by Pieter Collier. I would be most interested in the special/deluxe edition that is slipcased. I believe the ISBN is 9780007437993.
I can remember trying to get my hands on this back when it was published back in 2011, but alas Amazon let me down. I know it would look so nice with my collection next to the Art of the Hobbit and Lord of Rings slipcases. I would also be interested in the the regular edition, ISBN 9780007437986.
Any information or leads on anyone selling would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I see a standard copy is
available on AbeBooks for £60 from the UK right now.
I have not seen any slipcased copies on the market (ever, but I haven't been looking closely). Perhaps
Beren has a source, but he is awfully busy so have a lot of patience.

Checked my (trade) copy, and you have the ISBN's correct. They still show up on Amazon.co.uk under those ISBNs. as "temporarily unavailable" as well.
And forgot to say in my previous post - welcome to TolkienGuide! ?

I think I may have an unmarked standard copy spare. The other one has a long inscription by Pieter and is signed by Blok. Ain't got no need for the deluxe copy! :)

No, that's not a 'sold' price. It's a wishful thinking seller's price.

This. The Deluxe edition didn't exactly sell out quickly and it is somewhat of a niche book anyway. I'm not sure what the used price should be at this point, but anything more than £100 would seem a bit much to me. Nicely produced book, mind, even if the art itself is a bit divisive.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Seems Abebooks will likely be the site to watch. Ironic that one popped up there already, but that is certainly outside of my price range. I did not realize that this edition was limited to just the 500 signed copies. Probably will make the search a bit more difficult.
I enjoy his art myself. I gravitate toward less realistic depictions, but I could see the divisive opinion existing there. Fascinating stuff!
