I cannot yet speak to the contents in specifics, but let me dispel this speculation now. It is true that The Nature of Middle-earth will contain some primary material that was previously published in specialist journals; but the vast majority of the material is previously unpublished. (That's why I've been at work on this in earnest and as my schedule permits for some years now.)
Exciting news indeed!

This puts me in mind of conversations I used to have years ago, with Charles Noad.
He was proof-reading the HoMe volumes as they came out, and I would ask him,
'Have you had the latest from Christopher yet?'
'Yes', he'd reply.
'Can you tell me anything about it?'
'No', was his short response.
Of course, I was only having a little fun - I knew very well that he was not at liberty to say anything.

Amazon Germany has now listed the hardcover with a price (€22.69) to add to the Kindle edition and the more expensive hardcover. That would seem to indicate that there is a deluxe edition of this unless that other more expensive gets cancelled.

My wallet and bookshelf are ready!
Private Eye https://www.private-eye.co.uk/ have already reviewed the book. For anyone who is not aware of Private Eye, the magazine is very anti Tolkien and the Tolkien Estate.
