What did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking? I actually only got my copy a couple of years ago (fine, unread, original tissue, fine box) and I paid NZD 150 including shipping (about £75 total). At the time I thought that was a pretty decent buy.
Well stu, I paid £100 for it so it s a decent price very low in this crazy market ?

Yeah, I think you did well under the current conditions.

Beautiful. What's the ISBN on this one?

Let's all learn how to use TolkienBooks.net. There's a learning curve but it's not steep, and it's entertaining for any Tolkien collector to click around through the site while getting used to it. It's really very well laid out.
But to answer the question (which took me about 5 seconds to find on the website), the ISBN is: 0048231274.
Congrats on the nice copy!
Fwiw, I do recall being a bit confused by the site at first... but again, just dig into to it a bit. It's essential to understand if you take collecting seriously, which some of us do here.
Appreciate you doing the easy work for me. I'm quite familiar with TolkienBooks.net, but I think my memory simply lapsed on this one. I looked at it as a leatherbound deluxe copy of Beowulf, surprised I'd never come across it before. Of course it's The Hobbit–I even have the corresponding Poems and Stories of the same format.

Nice find! I am trying to get one of these for some time... If you ever want to get rid of one of your copies, just le me know
I really wish Tolkienbooks would get updated: it needs it really bad. There have been quite a few editions after 2013.
It's a handy site, for sure, but at the moment it can only do so much.

You can download them from here https://1drv.ms/u/s!ArSx_8pEHDncip0nhmNkhLYVCHi0QQ?e=tR7EmN, Stu might make them into a facsimile for you.
I still haven't scanned and re-assembled/cleaned the RU jacket for @Mr Underhill as yet.
Whenever you can! I know that takes time.
