I want to mail order the Alan Lee illustrated box set of the Hobbit & LotR from Blackwell's website, but I am concerned such a heavy & fragile set may be damaged in its overseas transit from the UK to the US.

Does anyone have experience ordering from them that can testify to their shipping and packing methods?

Do you think Blackwell's does a good job protecting their books / box sets when shipping?

Please let me know here. I don't want to get these beautiful books and have them scarred by the trip over.
