I appreciate very much everyone that has answered my questions or given their opinions. I have come across an Easton Press Complete Guide to Middle Earth, the particular copy I am looking at is signed by Greg Hildebrandt. Any opinions, or thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but here are my thoughts:
The Complete Guide does not appear to be currently available from their website. However, Greg loves to sign things, so it probably wouldn't be too difficult to contact him (the right place to start would be to get in touch with SpiderWebArt.com, his official gallery) and see if you could have him sign a copy for you if you have an unsigned one. I wouldn't pay a high premium for his signature right now, but there is work involved in getting one, so it should add a bit to the book value.

Thank you, that is very nice to know (ease of getting a signature). On the same note, if you know, in the same sort of situation what are your opinions on the value of having Carol Heyer sign and possibly sketch in the Easton Press The Lost Tales 1&2 that she illustrated? Thanks a lot!

Having Carol sign/sketch in your copies of LT I and II will certainly set them apart a bit from the rest of the copies, but I don't think it adds significantly to the value of the books. Mostly because Carol hasn't done any other Tolkien illustrations that I know of, she was commissioned by Easton Press specifically for these - so she isn't well known or sought after in the Tolkien collecting circles (yet).
