Online for me too and I’m in the U.K., but I think it’s too soon for a physical moot to be honest. That and my wife is working away that time. I’ll look forward to it though.

It’s looking to be a very good gathering!

I’ll be interviewing Carl on opening night about The Nature of Middle-earth. Will be a lot of fun and I know I will learn a lot.

Oxonmoot has a discord channel, which you can join if you are attending the event. It has a Collecting channel and a Voice channel for Collecting.

Would be useful if you are attending to mention your TCG forum name in that channel.

With Oxonmoot fast approaching, this email is to give you information on the programme regarding Collecting Tolkien.

For each of our "interests" we are running drop-in sessions where delegates can simply meet up with others who share that interest to chat, share hints and tips and ideas, and generally hang out. Those for Collecting are scheduled:

• 12:15 p.m. UK time on Friday - online and in the Edoras discussion room in Oxford
• 1:45 a.m. UK time on Sunday (Saturday evening US time) - online only

Full details of all the events can be found in Sched, where you can also see the schedule in your own time zone.

Sadly the Friday session is at 4 AM my local time, so I will likely not make it ?. I will plan to be at the Sunday drop-in (Saturday evening my time) if anyone wants to meet me there. I am guessing that Trotter and others will cover the Friday session well, though, so have fun!

Did someone attend the Tolkien in translation panel?

The organizers contacted me to use the compilation of Ring verse translations I have in my blog, but unfortunately I couldn't attend
