Great findings, Emilien!
I like the Methuen's Old English Library series. I recently found both The Seafarer and Maldon, though they are reprints (but I like their matching covers!).
I am particularly fond of Pearl, beacuse it was my first purchase -about one year ago- in the field of Tolkien's academic works, which are now my favourite items as a young and beginner collector.

Thank you northman and Mauro D86
I do like collecting academic works of the Professor as well !
Even if I know some might be very very hard to get, especially :
- Ancrene Wisse and Hali Meiðhad in Essays and Studies XIV, 1929
- Philology: General Works in The Year's Work in English Studies 1923
- Some Contributions to Middle-English Lexicography and The Devil's Coach-Horses in The Review of English Studies, 1925
- The Name ‘Nodens’
These (among others) are really the ones I would like to focus on, but they are so hard to find...
By the way @Mauro D86, your Pearl does look good. Is this the first edition?

You mentioned some of the most attractive collectibles. And I would also add Sigelwara land in Medium Ævum.
Yes, Pearl is quite good, though not a 1st (it's actually a 4th, 1966, nothing comparable to your pristine 1st). But it was in a small lot together with Beowulf. The monsters and the critics (a 1963 reprint) and SGGK. Pearl. Sir Orfeo (A&U, 1975), so I couldn't let it get away
These came in yesterday: first editions of the Dutch translation of The Lord of the Rings (with dustjackets!). Already had TT and RotK and was looking for FotR for quite a few years, when this set popped up last week for a true bargain (€30 shipping incl.). Couldn’t be happier!
A big thank you to a fellow collector who helped me acquire this (still sealed) ?
Really wish I had been able to attend the 1992 conference.
