Finally had a chance to listen to Trotter's chat with Alan and Shawn - well done, I quite enjoyed that!
Was really an enjoyable experience to be on the PPP collecting segment. I think they will have three or four of these segments a year, as both the hosts really like the segment and to be honest the guests are quite likely to also be members of this site, a nice crossover.
If you wanted to be on an episode then the best thing is to email barliman (at) theprancingponypodcast (dot) com with a synopsis of the collecting area that you wanted to talk about and state that is for the 'Kingly Gifts' section. The section would probably be about 20 minutes long.
The Chads' are still on hiatus for the holiday season but have not been idle. Aside from helping Father Christmas deliver a few packages, they were guests on some friends' podcast to talk about The Council of Elrond scene in Jackson's Fellowship of the Ring film.
Watch Party: LOTR on Prime hosted by Michael and Jen is a great companion to use while looking at Tolkien adaptations as well as other fantasy including the new Wheel of Time show. We hope you enjoy Chad and Chad lending their expertise to this scene and we'll be back in a couple of weeks.

We've put away the holiday lights and recovered from New Year's with 2 new episodes from our latest panel of Elf-friends. Friends of the show Laurie Magan and Dr. Luke Shelton were kind enough to stop in and discuss with us, Gatekeeping in Tolkien Fandom. We hope you enjoy them!

Believe it or not Chad and Chad talked so much that Michael and Jen had to split their episode on the Council of Elrond into multiple parts. We hope you enjoy part two. If you haven't listened to part one, go back and do that too!

Whilst this is not a Tolkien Podcast, it is a book collecting podcast and it sounds quite interesting and worth a listen to see if you enjoy it.

For the month of March, the Chads have something pretty special for y'all. We spent a few hours talking with Dr. John Rosegrant about his new book:Enchantment and Loss in Tolkien's Writing.
We also had an all star group of Elf-friends helping us in our interview, Marilyn R. Pukkila and our very own Urulókë were wonderful to have along side us in our interview with John. A wonder discussion, do it up y'all!!
John's new book can be purchased through our store here in the Misc. section
