Trying to keep Amazon tie-in books in a separate thread, so people not interested can ignore them.

Two UK paperbacks with new covers
Beren and Luthien - 14th April 2022
The Fall of Gondolin - 12th May 2022
Does anyone know if these two will match the B-format paperbacks?

Thank you @Mr. Underhill. I could have, and should have found that for myself

Spiros's 'Misty Mountains' is stunning. Really looking forward to next years calendar.
That one looks a tiny bit generic to me. A bit like a random landscape with a couple of middle-earth elements dropped in. Might just be that I see a lot of local art like that depicting the area around Queenstown.
I really like the middle-lower row image on the back of the calendar - fits right with my middle-earth worldview, which is a lot less "grand" (and simply more "normal") than some artists portray it.

I wouldn't argue that it is especially unique, it is a standard watercolour in most respects. I really like it because (for me at least) it harks back to Tolkien's own art with those mountains layered as they are, almost as if they are about to get up and walk off. His mountains often took the form of waves and had a sense of movement to them, these mountains speak the same to me. The colours are really to my seasonal tastes and I love that tree line across the water which I think looks like it is about to move.
I don't think any of the images quite fit my "Middle-earth worldview", not quite the style I go for normally but I certainly look forward to seeing them in the morning as I make coffee before the day starts. I also wish they had reached out to Joe Golronan for this calendar too, I really like his art, but I get it, a calendar is only so big.
Urulókë could we maybe reach out to Joe Gilronan to see if he would like to do an interview for the site?
Looks like we may be getting a new limited edition LotR from Folio Society next week.
