You are quite right, I actually meant to state "Tolkien deluxe books", though I am sure am exception can be found for these as well.
Surely the main purpose of this site is to pick holes in what we each write?
Picked up this set yesterday, not one you see too often and loving the photo. For some reason a (slightly smaller) 2nd impression TT is mixed with a 1st imp. FotR and RotK...
Some interesting acquisitions of the last three months :
- The Shaping of Middle-earth (1/1st)
- JRR Tolkien, Artiste et illustrateur (very hard to find in french)
- Role-playing maps :
=> Terre du Milieu (french), parchment paper
=> The Shire, fabric/velvet
=> Eriador, fabric/velvet
- Alan Lee poster collection
- old French editions (some in duplicate)
Finally, the latest French publications, for those who are interested:
- Le Hobbit (magnificent paperback edition, intended for the youngest)
- Carte de la Terre du Milieu
- Carte du Hobbit
(As there are already quite a few large photos in the message, I put links to my site to avoid overloading this post. You can also see detailed videos of the books at the bottom of each page.)
