Definitely a useful link that should be highlighted on the site and on the collectors' pages. And ("dreamly" speaking) on the online sales sites to prevent costly mistakes for the uninformed buyers.

They have reduced the price from £2,513.97 to £817.22 and removed the following from the listing Tolkien signed this copy on the inner title page (see photo attached). Full refund if not satisfied with authenticity of signature but I still think the listing is misleading as I think they should state it has a facsimile signature not Tree and Leaf Signed by J.R.R. Tolkien
I did look at this. The silk is a fair match but the spine looks like buckram. I'm assuming it's an amateur rebind, but it could be something more interesting.
