Have you had time to read Alan Lee's preface? How many pages is that if you have? And any interesting points made that you maybe can share about said preface. Thanks for the pictures. Nice to see it arrived so well protected, and respected.

The preface is three pages long and virtually identical to this https://lithub.com/alan-lee-on-illustr ... ns-the-lord-of-the-rings/, apart from a couple of extra sentences mentioning the Folio Society.

True coffee table size? How does it compare size-wise to say Maker of Middle-earth or some of the art books?
