I jumped on a live stream with Nerd of the Rings if anyone is interested in watching the recap.

Whatever the content, I hope the illustrations are printed to the reasonable quality of CoH, B&L and FoG, rather than the sub-par recent LoTR (Alan Lee and Tolkien illustrated), Sil and UT offerings. I've been so bummed by the quality of the recent stuff that I had actually forgotten that B&L and FoG were done well.

I’m excited for the new Alan Lee art. Also, as usual, I’m curious and excited about the motif they will use. The rust colour looks nice and different without being weird.

On the flip side, I wonder at the title - I feel like the DOWNFALL of Númenor might’ve been more apt. There’s an important nuance between FALL and DOWNFALL that they seem to have overlooked.

Agreed! My favourite is still Ted Nasmiths despite the 'viking ships', but i found this new Alan Lee haunting. Spent a bit of time looking at this one.

I do like this rust colour for sure. ? Kullervo was more brick red (Edit: it was TCG red lol).

Did HC give you guys any indication about what the foil stamping motif might be? I scoured through various listings to see if it was mentioned anywhere, but found nada.
