If a book of one of the lesser available items (like 1st print hobbit) stays on abe, it is overpriced... a lot can be learned from watching what comes and goes, what is there and what is not.

True for the common internet users. But I'm guessing that PH has another customer base.

What we cannot know for sure though is the price it has actually been sold for..
