I’m sorry but I’m not familiar with what vegan leather is? Can you explain as it sounds contradictory.
Vegan leather is a material fabric that looks and feels like leather but is made of artificial or plant based materials rather than animal hide.
So people are just using the word for a non treated hide product. Not leather at all really. Thanks.

As someone who stopped eating meat when I was 8 years old I find the 'vegan' leather, fake sausages, plant based meat and all the other things that make a life-choice product look like the product one decided to not use rather odd.

Is that the Taiwanese set from David Miller at Tolkien bookshelf?
I saw a set w/o hobbit on eBay recently for $100. Wasn’t in bad condition I suppose.

yes from David. I saw a 4-book set without the silmarillion, but it was 4th printings....there is a 4-book set there now also without the silmarillion but for $250 and also 4th printings. Been searching for a first printing set for a while....and the most important book for me was the 1977 november silmarillion with a decent DJ.

I’m looking for these sets too for cheap. I’ll keep an eye out.

Wonderful editions northman, loving 'smeagol takes the Ring' and the 16th print is actually rare
