For people in the UK, the BBC are currently showing a series on BBC4 called
Picture Book, which is a series telling the enchanting story of childhood reading looks at books that help us with the growing pains of our early adolescence and teens.
From a Tolkien perspective, the second episode in the Series
Now We Are Six, still available on BBC iPlayer, contains a section on C.S. Lewis and the illustrator of his Narnia books, Pauline Baynes.
Tonight's episode at 9pm has the Lord of The Rings included and as the episode is about illustrators then it may also include Alan Lee, John Howe or Ted Naismith.

Did they use jacket images??
I provided them... they worked out an agreement with the TE and HC and I then scanned in the jackets of my 1sts of Hobbit and Lotr for them!

Indeed! You must be pretty chuffed with that
Beren? Its good to here about TV-makers, publishers, and the Estate working with the collecting community. And, if people are seaking
you out, for help in regards to Tolkien books; well, that must be satisfying (exciting even!) indeed. The
Collier Collection grows in prominence with every passing day...
(Didn't actually see programme unfortunately; can't get BBC4 reception. Might still be on iPlayer...)

Too bad for us then!
We'll have to go and live in the UK...not that I would mind it!
