For people in the UK, the BBC are currently showing a series on BBC4 called Picture Book, which is a series telling the enchanting story of childhood reading looks at books that help us with the growing pains of our early adolescence and teens.

From a Tolkien perspective, the second episode in the Series Now We Are Six, still available on BBC iPlayer, contains a section on C.S. Lewis and the illustrator of his Narnia books, Pauline Baynes.

Tonight's episode at 9pm has the Lord of The Rings included and as the episode is about illustrators then it may also include Alan Lee, John Howe or Ted Naismith.
