I was following this sale out of curiosity and the result was shocking to me even for the Tolkien market. Sold for over $300 with several bidders going high.

This is a Print on Demand book from HarperCollins, they are changing printers and so it is temporarily unavailable, but will cost £40 ($50 USD) + shipping when back on sale, $250 less than the sale price of this item.
I only bought mine last year as a POD direct from HarperCollins, when they also had a sale on. I think it was £24. Silly what people will pay for some books.
