I finally got a chance to check this out, thanks
Trotter. Mostly seems focused on movie and other adaptations though there are some first edition books and items from Tolkien's library. I understand why places don't do this (increased cost and more work, perhaps lower actual attendance) but it would be really cool if future Tolkien exhibitions could prepare these virtual tours to go live after the exhibitions close. These exhibitions are really unique experiences and many folks simply can't afford to make it to Oxford or New York or Marquette but would love a chance to see these things, even virtually.
