As promised, photos of the Black Pine whisky delivery.
While I didn't get the 1/30 bottle of whisky "to rule them all", very happy with 20/30 (as it immediately dawned on me that 9+7+3+1=20).
Love the signed print, and the scent of pine from inside the box is magical.

Seems I was also one of the lucky ones to get one of the 30 extra-limited wooden boxes! Looking forward to receiving it, and will post images if anyone wants to see (again lol).
Goodness. I bought one of the £150 bottles under the assumption my bid did not win. Just learned today that a previous winning bid pulled out and my bid is now a winner. Thrilled to get the full wooden box but not thrilled about the extra £150 (plus U.S. shipping). RIP my bank account.

Congrats! Though I am amazed that they allowed a bidder to pull out.
If it helps, tell them to send the package to me and I will make it a lot lighter and then send it on to you, saving you mega money on the postage

😂 Well, if you’re ever in New Orleans, let me know and we’ll make the bottle a lot lighter together.

Congratulations to Tuor and Turaga.
Let us know what numbers you get assigned. Great that 3 of these are in the hands of Tolkien collectors.
p.s. been doing a bit of background research about the print. My estimation is that it is only available with these 30 bottles. Certainly the signed ones. I am contacting the botanic garden to see if they are going to be selling the unsigned prints. If there are just 30, they could be very nice to have of themselves. Certainly going to get mine nicely framed. The artist Stanley Donwood is very well known here in the UK, and his signed prints can sale for anything from £60-£500. His original works are in the £'000s.

Sounds like a plan

Thanks for sharing this info! I'm also planning on having the print framed but was previously unaware of the artist. Will share more info and photos when I receive mine.
