I would also add for those who have not done so, Devon is excellent to deal with. I have made quite a few purchases from him and have always been pleased.

I found a great copy at a good price on Ebay at the beginning of the summer but the seller, after several months of procrastinating, canceled the sale :(

I found one on ebay last month (unopened, still in plastic) and paid $100. I'd seen another a few months prior, also listed around $100.

Berelach I've saved two searched on ebay, one for the ISBN: 0739408259, and the other simply as "Lord of the Rings SFBC". Do you think I'm pretty well covered with this?

That sounds good, maybe Science Fiction Book Club Lord of the Rings spelled out also for good measure.

A little late to the party on this one: I hope you find one, and priced well! That's always the case, of course, but a few things:

• to my understanding, it's not ACTUAL leather
  
• I wouldn't be surprised if it's glued
  

To some, these factors might matter, but they're still worth noting so that you won't be pay too much, thinking that pristine materials were used for this.
