Pewter Figurines

Thanks for sharing! Some of these (many? all? I haven't checked closely) are from the Royal Selangor licensed releases, for those interested in a bit more information:

I believe that all of these are Tudor Mint figures apart from the top right figure which, as Uruloke has pointed out, is by Royal Selangor.

They were part of the Myth & Magic (from Tudor Mint) range that started out with various dragons and mythological/fantasy characters. I sadly don't have images and sold them many years ago but I collected various pieces from the TM when I was a kid. They were so expensive from memory, for the time at least. A small figure, no bigger than a shot glass were at least £35 in the 1990s.

I believe you are correct. The Saruman figurine is distinct from the others. The Tudor Mint figurines all include the crystal ball(s), though I have no idea what the significance of them are. I have seen them for sale on eBay and other online markets and the asking prices are usually expensive. Mine have been collected over the years at various thrift and used goods shops. I don't think I ever paid more than $10 for any of them.

The crystals were introduced in 1989 specifically for the Myth & Magic range, I guess to denote the fantasy angle. I believe that the earliest range were the Wizards series and then they expanded into dragons and other fantasy characters and scenes. I got my first probably in 1990 if I remember correctly.

Used to receive the Selangor chess set shot glasses, each Christmas and birthday.. took a while. Fond memories.
